Specific admission criteria of the doctoral programme

Specific requirements:

A personal letter of motivation.

Documents supporting everything stated in the curriculum vitae.

Merits and assessment criteria:
Previous technical or scientific studies in the fields of engineering, architecture, physics, chemistry/biochemistry, informatics, mathematics or similar.
An education equivalent to the master's degree in Fluid Thermodynamics Engineering corresponding to the topic of the doctoral thesis. The Academic Committee at each participating university will decide whether bridging courses are necessary.
A letter from a lecturer of the programme agreeing to supervise the applicant's doctoral thesis.
The following criteria will be taken into account for the selection of students:-

Mobility during the studies qualifying the applicants for entrance.

Any other merit that applicants express that has an impact on the preparation of their doctoral thesis.

Complementary training
Depending on the subjects that students admitted to the doctoral programme have studied during their bachelor's and master's degrees, the Academic Committee and the thesis supervisor will decide which bridging courses students must complete, up to a maximum of 15 credits from the Master's Degree in Thermodynamic Engineering of Fluids offered by the URV.
