Specific admission criteria for the doctoral programme
- Specific requirements
Students who wish to take the Doctoral Programme in City, Territory and Sustainable Planning will have to submit, in addition to the general access documentation, the following specific documentation:
A. Currículum Vitae of the candidate (maximum 2 pages) with the following information:.
A.1. Academic transcript of bachelor's degree and relevance to the doctoral programme
A.2. Academic transcript of master's degree and relevance to the doctoral programme
A.3. Research grants
A.4. Previous experience in the fields of geography, architecture, territorial planning and/or climate change
A.5. Publications
A.6. International experience
A.7. Command of foreign languages used in scientific ambits
B. Research topic that the student wishes to develop (maximum 1 page). The concordance with the research lines of the doctoral programme and the viability of the proposal will be taken into account.
C. Cover letter with the motivations for pursuing the doctorate addressed to the coordinator of the program. If deemed necessary, a personal interview will be held.
- Merits and evaluation criteria
Students will be selected based on the following evaluation criteria:
A. Currículum Vitae, maximum 2 pages, 60% of the evaluation
B. Research topic that the student wishes to develop, maximum 1 page, 20%.
C. Cover letter and motivation for pursuing the doctorate and/or interview, 20%.
